Is there terms and conditions to booking a package?

Yes. You can read in detail click this link. We suggest to read the T&Cs before booking and paying deposit.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. Deposits are required within 2-4 days of making a booking. Different deposit amounts are required for our packages. If the deposit is not paid within this time, your booking will be cancelled and made available for our waiting list.

When do you require payment and what method of payment do you take?

Our preferred method of remaining payment is cash on the day, unless organised prior. We also accept EFT and Visa/MasterCard (will incur a 2% fee). Payment with EFT, Visa/MasterCard must be cleared 4 days prior to the party.

What happens if I cancel my entertainer after paying the deposit?

If you have already paid your deposit and cancel the event you will lose your deposit completely. If cancelled with more than 14 days before the event you can save your deposit by transferring the date (you will not receive a refund but a credit towards another date).

If you cancel within 14 days of the event you will lose your deposit completely and cannot use it as credit for another date.

I want to book a package but I have less guests then on the package. Can I do this and how much will it cost?

Yes of course you can do it! We do have a minimum spend for all packages, therefore if there are fewer children our entertainer will play extra games and do larger face paint designs. This means you are still getting value for money. We don’t discount the package price.

I have extra children for the package I like. Will you do this and how much will it cost?

Yes we will do this! Our packages are designed to get the most out of the time we state with a manageable amount of children. For more children there will be extra costs. It may be easier to book an extra host to keep children entertained and contained. For a quote on how much this will cost please click here.

What time do the entertainers arrive?

They will arrive 10-20 minutes before to set up and be ready to start at the time booked.

I am concerned that I have a mixed group of boys and girls and the ages vary. Can you provide entertainment for all?

This is perfectly fine. We cater to all ages and both to young boys and girls. Our activities are suited for boys and girls. The face painting will suit the age of the child, games and music are age appropriate too. From our experience the older children often enjoy helping our entertainers.

Do you charge a travel fee?

There may be a travel fee due to the location of our entertainer and their travel to your location. You are welcome to contact our office via email before booking to confirm amount.

I want to have two entertainers because I have a large group of children, will this cost me anything?

If you need an extra entertainer to help host you will be charged a call out fee for that extra entertainer as well as any additional charges for extra guests.

How will I know how much I owe?

A schedule will be sent out the week prior to the event with final numbers, costs and any additional information.

Can I book a charactergram for a home visit for a child’s birthday?

Yes you can. If the entertainer is available we can travel to your home.

Do you do birthday party packages for home?

We no longer do birthday packages at home, only a charactergram can visit. We specialise in entertaining at venues and corporate functions. Most of our venues have birthday packages available. Contact them directly to book. More information click here.

Do you entertain at Christenings and Communions?

Yes we do. We can entertain at your chosen function centre for Christenings, Communions, Confirmations, Weddings, 21sts, major birthdays and anniversaries.

Can you come to a venue and are you covered with your own public liability?

Yes we travel to parks and venues and we are covered with our own public liability. We can send you the certificate of currency via email on request.

How do I know the entertainers are experienced and safe to work with kids?

All our staff have a current ‘working with children check’. They have been trained extensively and we pride ourselves on our professionalism and reliability.

Do you have male entertainers?

No, all our staff are female, young and vibrant and connect well with both genders.

Do you supply your own table and chairs?

No, we don’t supply chairs and tables. Set up details are on each package page please read carefully.

Do you supply decorations?

No, we do not supply or decorate for the event.

I’m not sure if I want to book a party yet but I would like to know if the date and time is available. How do I go about this?

For all questions and enquiries please contact us to check if date is available. Please do not fill in a booking request unless you are committed to the booking. Once you have sent the booking form in we will contact you to confirm date and time. If there is an issue with the date we will be in contact.

Do we need to provide shelter or shade for the entertainer?

Whilst we can play games and dance in the sun, we require shade for the products like face paint. Therefore we require a spot in the shade to face paint. Please note if the weather is too hot or cold it isn’t enjoyable for children and entertainers.

Do we need to provide power?

Yes, we require power for our music. However if this is a corporate event at a park we can arrange for a battery operated stereo. 

Is there food included in the package?

We do not provide food.

When do the children eat during the event?

Please keep in mind our packages are tailored for children to eat finger food or come and go from the food table. Sit down meals are not suitable to eat whilst the entertainer is there as this time is spent on face painting, games and dancing. If you have special considerations about stopping to eat please ask and discuss with host on arrival.

What face paint do you use?

Our entertainers use the brands TAG, Global and Cameleon. These brands are very reputable and of high quality, suitable for sensitive skin and hypoallergenic.
